There are two options for how to load a container.

There are six types of containers available.

  •   General-purpose freight container: These containers are the most common. The containers are fully sealed and have full-width doors at the ends for easy access. These containers can be used to transport both liquid and solid materials.
  •   Refrigerated freight container: These containers can be used to transport products that require refrigeration during transit.
  •   Dry bulk freight container: These containers can be used to transport dry powders and granular substances.
  •   Freight container with open sides or tops: These containers can be used to transport large and unusually sized items.

  These containers can be used to transport liquid cargo.

  •   Hanger containers: These containers can be used to carry the garments on hangers.

How to load the container with merchandise/products:-

After deciding on the container type, the next step is to load the products. You can also break this process into three steps.

Before loading merchandise, it is important to inspect the cargo container. To avoid confusion, it is important to make sure that there are no placards left from previous cargo. They must also ensure that the container does not have any holes.

Pre-planning is essential before products can be exported using freight containers. The container must have the total product weight spread over its entire length and width. They should also take care when packing goods. Dry goods and wet goods should be packed separately. Heavy packages shouldn’t be placed on top of light packages. They must also fill all available space in the container to ensure that goods do not move during shipping.

After loading cargo or goods, the last step is to inspect the container. Before exporting, it is important to verify the total weight and labeling. They must also inspect the packaging.
